Lowongan Kerja Hotel di Bali - Food & Beverage Manager

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for ensuring high quality Food & Beverage Products and Services for hotel guests and customers.

Profile:

  • A minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Have a good knowledge of service and food and beverage products in an upscaleor fine dining concept.
  • Customer-Service Orientated.Attention to detail.  Good Leadership, Management, Organizational, Problem solving and Speaking Skills.
  • Basic Accounting skills for conducting Inventories, Scheduling, Cash Control, Loss Prevention, Profit and Loss Statements Analyzes.
  • Experience with computerized POS systems, MICROS preferred.
  • Experience dealing with the F & B Suppliers and contract negotiations.
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.

The Food & Manager duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Effectively managing people in order to maximize the effectiveness of Food and Beverage staff and develop their potential.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training and motivation.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures for food and beverage departments.
  • Assist in planning and implementing events and functions.
  • Approves the menus proposed by the Executive Chef for all outlets and special events.
  • Greets guests and oversees actual service on a routine, random basis.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
  • Develops an operating budget for each of the department’s revenue outlets; after approval, monitors and takes corrective action as necessary to help assure that budget goals are attained.
  • Financial reporting, Food and Beverage cost control and budgets to ensure maximum profitability of the department.
  • Helps plan and approves external and internal marketing and sales promotion activities for the food and beverage department. Helps develop wine lists and bottle/glass wine sales promotion programs.
  • Ensures correct handling procedures to minimize china and glassware breakage and food waste.
  • Addresses member and guest complaints and advises the General Manager about appropriate corrective actions taken.
  • Monitors employee dress codes according to policies and procedures.
  • Approves all product invoices before submitting to the accounting department.
  • Manages physical inventory verification and provides updated information to the accounting department.
  • Inspects to ensure that all safety, sanitation, energy management, preventive maintenance and other standards are consistently met.
  • Maintains records of special events, house counts, food covers and daily business volumes.
  • Being an integral member of the hotel management team, proactively identify, communicate and respond to areas requiring improvement within the overall hotel operation.
